Mango Program
Mango
is an exciting new program of the Miramichi Regional
Health Authority that began in May 2002 to promote
healthy eating and active living.
Mango
dietitians work with volunteers and partners from
the nine communities of Baie Ste. Anne; Alnwick Region,
Rogersville, Eel Ground, Blackville, Carrefour
Beausoleil, Esgenoopitij (Burnt Church), City of
Miramichi and Metepenagiag (Red Bank).

To promote and facilitate a lifestyle of healthy eating and active living in the communities of Miramichi Regional Health Authority for the people of today and the future.

By 2008, Mango will decrease overweight and obesity by 10% in Health Region 7 by facilitating initiatives to improve eating habits and increase physical activity.
