Quality Improvement Teams
The Miramichi Regional Health Authority’s infrastructure and principles are grounded by a quality improvement strategy that seeks to make things better by improving all aspects of service. This is accomplished by accreditation guidelines and the work of Quality Improvement Teams.
Accreditation is a process by which we have the Canadian Council of Health Services Accreditation rate us on a variety of levels, mostly patient satisfaction. We have consistently received the highest accreditation status possible.
The overall role of the Quality Improvement Teams is to be ‘advisory’ and to make recommendations on continuous improvement in patient related service delivery.
